NHS Doc On Notice After D&G Primary School Closure
NHS Dumfries & Galloway ‘Consultant in Public Health’ Dr Regina McDevitt was today issued with a Notice to Cease and Desist after ordering the closure of Nethermill Primary School with a letter to parents on Monday. The letter requested that children be subjected to PCR testing before returning to the two-classroom primary school alluding to an outbreak there, but no details were provided.
The Notice questioned Dr McDevitt’s competence and knowledge regarding Covid tests and set out the limitations and capabilities of PCR and lateral flow tests, as well as presenting the lawyer’s letter recently sent by prominent law firm PJH Law to leaders and execs at the council over the same issue.
Dr McDevitt was warned that she would also be liable for her part in the misuse of Covid testing, potentially leaving her open to charges of fraud, misfeasance and child maltreatment as with the council’s top brass, but on top of that, given her medically-trained consultancy role within NHS D&G Health Board, she was warned she would also be committing medical neglect and malpractice.
The hard-hitting Notice accused Dr McDevitt - and all involved in pushing the current Covid policies - of “causing children far more damage and devastation than Covid ever will by a factor of thousands” before granting the health consultant 14 days to respond.
In the unlikely event that Dr McDevitt does respond, we will of course provide an update. However, two FOI’s regarding the matter at Nethermill that were issued two days ago to DGC and NHS D&G should definitely receive a response and we will provide an update as soon as that happens.
